JMB or Joint Management Body.

JMB / MC

JMB or Joint Management Body is established under section 17 of the Malaysia Strata Management Act 2013 upon bringing together the first annual general meeting by the developer.

Property Management of a strata scheme development is always technically challenging, especially for new developers, building managers, managing agents and new strata owners in Joint Management Bodies (JMB) and Management Corporations (MC). In Malaysia, the Strata Management Act 2013 (SMA), Strata Management (Maintenance & Management) Regulations 2015 and Strata Titles Act 1985 (STA) regulate the management and maintenance of strata scheme developments.
